Inspired by real family adventures

Ash & Willow is a series of children's books inspired by years of exploring the National Forest with my nieces and nephews.

Many of the illustrations are based on photographs taken during those adventures, helping bring the stories to life.

I hope that each book encourages children and their families to discover nature and explore new places together.

Each Ash & Willow story is set in a real National Forest destination.

What people are saying...

“I purchased the one for Rosliston Forestry Centre, lovely illustrations, my granddaughter loved it, well done Helen, a local resident of Burton.”

Viv

“My year 4 class really enjoyed the story and it was great to have the colouring pack to use afterwards. I've asked Helen to come in to my school and read it to the children next year.”

Chloe

“Our daughter loved the Rosliston book so much that we had to read it every night before bed! We've since bought the Church Farm book and she loves that one, too.”

Katy

My granddaughter absolutely loves the book, she wants us to read it all the time.

Mandy

Such a clever idea. My son was bought the book as a present and we visited Rosliston after reading the story. He really enjoyed seeing all the pictures from the story in real life.
